The PM856 is a CPU module in the AC 800M series controller

Hardware composition: CPU board includes microprocessor, RAM memory, real-time clock, LED indicator, INIT button and CompactFlash interface.
Performance parameters: Clock frequency is 24MHz, memory capacity is 16MB. From the 800xa 5.1 fp4 version, the RAM capacity is 10.337MB and the flash memory capacity is 2MB for firmware storage. 1000 Boolean operations can be performed, taking 0.46 ms. Each controller supports 32 applications, each application supports 64 programs, 128 charts, the number of tasks per controller is 32, and cycle times per application are as low as 1ms.

Communication interface: The baseplate of the PM856A controller has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4) for connecting to the control network. Where COM3 is the RS-232C port with the modem control signal, COM4 is isolated and used to connect to the configuration tool.
Power requirements: Power requirements are 24V DC (voltage range 19.2~30V DC), typical power consumption is 180 mA, maximum value is 300 ma, power consumption 4.32 watts (maximum 7.2 watts), built-in 3.6V lithium battery.
